Philip Mackin and Calum Cummiskey took home the National Junior Pairs Title in dominant fashion. After last years near miss in losing out in the final they were adamant that the title would be theirs.

From the word go they looked unstopable and never had a close match with tightest game 10-2. Even in the final against the fancied Tennant they did not come undone and were rampant winning with ease.

This is a remarkable double for the lads from Cullyhaana who, only a month beforehand, were involved in the Junior Zone success. With many years left in the Junior competition hopefully they can gain more success. This win also entitles them to a runnout in the Champion of Champions pairs next year. Hopefully now Shane could back up their success and do the clean sweep for Oriel in the Junior events.
