A very disappointing entry of 8 teams became even less when 3 teams failed to show up on the night, which left only 3 games in total to be played.

Quarter-Final

Gill Rouiller, Imelda Hanratty and Mary Gartlan played incredible bowls to beat Rachel Brennan, Carol McMahon and Geraldine Boyle with and end to spare.

Semi-Finals

Gill was involved in a ding-dong battle with Bernie Keenan, Margo McEntee and Mae Kennedy. It looked like the shercock triple were going to win with ease but a bit of luck changed the tide in Gills favour. Playing the last end neither could be seperated and it took an incredible draw by Gill to take home the spoils. In the other semi-final Vera Mohan with Peggy McParland and Pauline Lavelle were also involved in a close contest with Mary Larney Teresa Finnegan and Anne-Marie Duff with the Louth trip eventually winning by 2.
